Isuzu Motors India, the global diesel engine expert, today showcased its India-manufactured, sports utility vehicle MU-7 at its [Kun Isuzu] in Coimbatore.
The India-produced MU-7 inherits Isuzu’s diesel-engine expertise and is endowed with superior fuel efficiency and outstanding engine performance. A 3-metre wheel-base makes the MU-7 one of the longest SUVs available in India, offering luxurious and spacious interiors. Isuzu MU-7 is powered with a 3 litre turbo-charged diesel engine, delivering 163 PS @ 3600 rpm and 360 Nm @ 1800- 2800 rpm range, making it a tough and reliable ride. Isuzu MU-7 is priced at Rs.22 lakhs (ex-showroom, Coimbatore)
The MU-7 is equipped with a unique service initiative ‘Isuzu Insight’ for its valued customers. As the name suggests, Isuzu Insight will provide insights of an individual’s driving habits and style, thereby helping them improve their fuel efficiency and vehicle performance. Customers can then identify areas of improvement in fuel efficiency, vehicle safety and performance, with the help of trained Isuzu Service Advisors at Isuzu dealerships.
The unique feature of the Isuzu Insight is its ability to evaluate each individual customers’ driving while taking into consideration his/her unique driving and usage requirements, driving conditions and environment. While this program will help individual MU-7 customers improve their driving and fuel mileage, the program will also help in fuel conservation at a larger level and also alleviate the stress on the environment.
Mr. Takashi Kikuchi, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India Pvt. Ltd., said, “We are delighted to launch the India made MU-7 in Coimbatore. The MU-7 SUV is known for its ruggedness, durability and fuel efficiency and is a proven and successful SUV in other key markets. I am sure the Indian customers will enjoy its extra spacious and comfortable ride.”
